Nelson Ives

Nelson Ives, 94, 2148 S.E. Tecumseh Road, died Saturday in a Topeka hospital where he was admitted Friday.

Mr. Ives was one of the founders of H.M. Ives and Sons Printing in 1908 and was a partner in the firm for many years. He retired in 1940 and then was a farmer until 1970. He was born September 25, 1883

Services

will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Hope Chapel for Robert N. Ives, 76, 7220 Ashbury Drive. He died Sunday, Feb 23 at a Topeka retirement home.

Mr. Ives was a farmer for many years in the Tecumseh area.

He was born Sept 13, 1909, in Topeka, the son of Nelson and Marion Darlow Ives. He was graduated from the University of Kansas with a business degree in 1932, and spent his life in Tecumseh and Topeka areas.

He married Helen Goddan in 1934. She died Aug 20, 1983.

Survivors include a son, Robert N Ives, Jr., Tecumseh; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.
